Are You a Good Candidate For Clear Aligners?
Aligners can treat a variety of different cases, including:
- Crowded Teeth — when the teeth overlap
- Overbites — when the upper front teeth overlap with the lower front teeth
- Underbites — when the lower front teeth overlap with the upper front teeth
- Diastema/Spacing— when there are small or large gaps between the teeth
- Open Bites — when the front upper and lower teeth slant outward and do not touch when the mouth is shut. This is a very rare type of malocclusion.
Also, aligners are beneficial for patients with previous orthodontic treatment that want to make minor corrections to their smile.
We recommend Clear Aligners for teenagers and adults who have the motivation to follow our instructions & are able to discipline themselves! Often, older patients are more motivated to straighten teeth because they know what it’s like to feel embarrassed of their smile.
(No age limit to get Clear Aligners!)
For Clear Aligners to work, you must wear your aligners 22 hours a day.
This means that you should only take out your clear aligners to eat and brush your teeth.
If you don’t consistently wear your Clear Aligners, you could end up prolonging your treatment time and spending more money in the long run.
